Events

Our church family is blessed to share life together through worship, fellowship, service, and celebration. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events and special programs that bring people closer to God and to one another. Enjoy the snapshots below of our recent gatherings.

Women’s Event

The annual Ladies Event was held on May 18th with the theme “If the Shoe Fits,” supporting the Closet of Hope ministry through collecting gently used and new shoes. Attendees generously donated 64 pairs of shoes and 11 pairs of socks. Guests also enjoyed choosing fresh‑cut flowers to create their own bouquets.

The meal was prepared by Kenny Sauceda and John Clark, and Martha Stowe’s pound cake, used for the strawberry shortcake dessert, was such a favorite that several guests later contacted the church office to compliment her.

Our speaker, Brittany Lee, shared an encouraging message that tied beautifully into the theme. She reminded us that the “shoes” we wear in each season of life may take time to feel comfortable — just like a new pair — but God walks with us as we grow into them.

We are grateful to Leslie Sauceda and Terry Clark for their time, creativity, and care in hosting this lovely event.
